It spurs the urge to run, retire the harm\

Left hidden in forgotten memories

I now recount, unease clawing my skin\
|

My careless words, said quick and uncontrolled\
|
|
It holds the tongue silent, cloaking the sin\
|
|
Left shrouded in tales of a past untold
|
|
|
|
I now confront, in fear of the dictums\
|
|
The damage I have done, unknown in breadth\
|
|
I'll keep myself alone, far from victims\
|
|
Till forever buried by death's escape
