and from you, the blood, it oozes

It cuts so deep into my flesh\
|
|
A spot left raw by bruise unknown\
|
|
Weakened right the way down to bone\
|
|
Throughout time as though damage fresh
|
|
|
|
Something you had meant to be kind\
|
|
But my knee-jerk is to despise\
|
|
So I put up a foolish guise\
|
|
And instinctively stab out blind
|
