a secret care to keep you near\
give private love, perpetual cheer

I can see you're doing better now\
you share your life and love aloud\
I am so glad you did not bend\
my dear and sweet and precious friend

My wager offered to the deep\
Summoning beasts of it's abyss\
Here I patiently wait to reap\
Escape into oblivion

Answers go far and few between\
Stealing away that once held bliss\
The consequence of man's machine\
Innocence of oblivion

To avoid disobedience\
Now I can only reminisce\
nevermore to experience\
My handshake with oblivion
